Netflix’s Lord of the Flies-inspired TV show first look images have been revealed. The upcoming TV series, known as The Society, has been building momentum over the last few months, in anticipation of its upcoming May release. The series is not to be confused with the in-development female-centric remake of Lord of the Flies. Originally published in 1954, William Golding’s Lord of the Flies tells the story of a group of preadolescent boys who attempt to form their own society after the plane they are traveling on crash lands near a deserted island in the Pacific Ocean....

Just a month after Cyanogen Inc. released the Cyanogen OS 13.1 update for the OnePlus One, the team has released an incremental update carrying the build number ZNH2KAS254. The update seems to be primarily aimed at fixing bugs, though at 200MB, it does seem to be a bit too hefty to just contain bug fixes and stability improvements. Today, he has uploaded another video showing AirPlay mirroring from an HTC One, running a CyanogenMod build, to an Apple TV connected to a HDTV. The storage company reported second quarter revenue of $1.57 billion with net income of $224 million, or 98 cents a share. Non-GAAP earnings for the quarter were $1.28 a share. Wall Street was expecting NetApp to report second quarter revenue of $1.55 billion with non-GAAP earnings of $1.21 a share. The bulk of NetApp’s sales in the quarter were attributed to hybrid cloud deployments. NetApp has been building out its public cloud business with partnerships with AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure....

A new trailer for Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake focused on the interpersonal relationships and moody disposition of the game’s playable protagonist, Cloud Strife. Previous trailers revealed returning characters and set up the game’s world, but this one consisted mostly of conversations between Cloud and the other characters. Square Enix revealed the Final Fantasy 7 Remake at E3 2015, and the company has slowly released more and more information about the project....

Apple’s campus stores were refreshed this week with a new lineup of exclusive T-shirt designs that are sure to delight visitors well-versed in Apple history. The seasonal collection is available now for a limited time, and shirts cost $40 each. At Apple Infinite Loop, 12 new designs have debuted. The most iconic are two variations of the famous pirate flag that is said to have flown over Apple’s Bandley 3 office during development of the original Macintosh....

Apple has announced a new addition to the Today at Apple session lineup. In a series of “art-based Today At Apple augmented reality experiences”, customers can go on an interactive walk to see AR set pieces from leading digital artists. A Zorro reboot, titled Z, is on the way, but it won’t be like any other Zorro project that’s been produced in the past because it’s set in an apocalyptic future and. The new film will take the classic tale of the dashing swordsman in black and move the setting from early 1800s Spanish-controlled California to the future.
