Just in time for the 2017 playoffs, the NHL has partnered with Apple to supply coaches with iPad Pros. According to an AP report, NHL coaches are being given three iPad Pros for their bench, while arenas have also been outfitted with additional iPads and Macs… The report explains that al 16 playoff arenas have been setup with iPad Pros and Macs in an effort to provide real-time video capabilities to players, coaches and coaches....

At the end of 2021, total CVC capacity on the network was 23.4Tbps, down 2.5%, and average capacity per user dropped 3.5% to 2.7Mbps, according to the latest NBN Wholesale Market Indicators Report from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). A new batch of leaked photos indicate that Motorola may include flash with the front-facing camera in its next flagship device. The latest leaks first appeared on an Android fan site called “Android ru.” The other unique feature is a fingerprint sensor integrated into the bottom speaker. This would be a huge space saver give the phone a cleaner look compared to rivals. For example, the Galaxy S6 Apple’s ione have the fingerprint scanner integrated with a home button....

Fox’s long-delayed New Mutants movie reportedly features a queer romantic relationship between two of its main characters: Moonstar and Wolfsbane, as played respectively by Blu Hunt and Maisie Williams. It feels like eons ago when Fox set writer-director Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars) to adapt Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod’s New Mutants comic books as part of the studio’s X-Men movie franchise. Boone had initially compared his vision for the film to horror movies like The Shining and Nightmare on Elm Street, but was reportedly forced to tone things down during production....

We’ve already seen one designer’s take on an all-screen iPhone SE, presented not long after the launch of this year’s new flagship phone, and Concept Creator has now given us an alternative vision of Apple’s most compact iPhone. The overall deal is the same. Take the classic design of the SE, and add a near-bezel-free display with the famous iPhone X notch … The concept essentially imagines squeezing an iPhone X spec into a four-inch phone, though it does lose the rear dual-camera setup in an unusual nod to likely real-world space constraints....

Much as Apple sells two sizes of its watch, are reportedly set to release Sport Style variations of their new wearable, with the latter aimed at smaller wrists. According to the report, the larger model will clock in at 1.38 inches sport a 480×480 screen, as compared to the Style’s 1.2-inch, 360×360 display. Additionally, Blass reports that the Sport will also have 768MB of RAM, (versus 512MB on the Style), as well as a much larger 430mAh battery, compared to 240mAh on the smaller model....

A new video published by TLDToday closely examines an iPad 6 dummy unit created around rumors and speculation. The video shows off some design changes and the notable addition of a Touch ID ring. At this point in time, there’s no official news on Apple’s plans to include Touch ID with the upcoming second-generation iPad Air, but it would definitely make sense. In the video below, the iPad Air is compared to this rumored “iPad 6” dummy showing very small changes between the two....

Here’s an overview screenshot of the new player. I’ll quickly highlight each feature individually. One nice new features is that Seasons and Episodes can be browsed from the same window that the video is streaming in. Previously there was a “More Episodes” button that would open it in a new tab. The HD button has been simplified. If Allow HD is checked, HD content will automatically be played whenever it is available....

iTunes Radio is quickly becoming the preferred platform for the world’s biggest stars to debut their new music. Upcoming albums from Rick Ross (Mastermind), Pharrell Williams (G I R L), Real Estate (Atlas), and Lea Michele (Louder) are now available for streaming in their entirety as iTunes First Plays. Each of the aforementioned albums are scheduled to be officially released next week. In the live genre, this morning Soundgarden announced that it will be playing alongside artists like Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Pitbull, and others at Apple’s first ever US iTunes Festival at SXSW....

The iPhone 5 is essentially the same width as the iPhone 4S, but taller. It’s 7.6 mm thick, which means it’s 18% thinner than the iPhone 4S and weighs 112 grams. It comes in two colors, White and Black with an aluminum and anodized back....

It has been widely reported that the upcoming iPhone 8 will cost consumers over $1000 at retail because of new features such as the OLED display and new 3D sensors. A new investor note from UBS analyst Steven Milunovich, however, disputes earlier reports and says the iPhone 8 will come in for less than $1000. According to Milunovich (via CNBC), the iPhone 8 will still come at a premium compared to the current iPhone lineup, but not as much of a premium as once thought....

However, these implementations have always been very buggy, rarely worked as intended and had quite a heavy impact on battery life. ) The Nexus 5 is the latest handset to get this feature via custom kernels. However, the good news is that this time the kernel developers have actually re-worked the code, making it work flawlessly with lesser wakelocks, leading to a drastic reduction in power consumption....

A source who has provided reliable information in the past has informed us that the new MacBook Pro models, expected to be launched in the fall, will feature a Touch ID power button as well as the previously-reported OLED touch-sensitive function keys. The KGI note which first reported the OLED function key display also suggested that the new MacBook Pros would offer ‘Touch ID support,’ but did not contain any specifics....
