A new game type is coming to Fortnite Creative Mode, and it’s making its first appearance at PAX South 2020. Creative Mode debuted in Fornite in late 2018 and gives players a place to build freely and even create new games modes without the distraction of a winner-takes-all deathmatch going on around them. Fortnite is best known for its massively popular battle royale mode, but its importance as an online gathering place shouldn’t be underestimated....

A video game lawyer has revealed exactly what Electronic Arts would have to do in order to make a new NCAA Football game happen, and it’s thrown a wrench into fans’ hopes for a comeback. The lawyer’s clarification follows the NCAA announcement that it would start the process of letting students profit from their own image, name and other likenesses, which many thought meant NCAA Football games could return. Over the past month, the new “Google Nest” replaced Nest.com with the Google Store and gained a new Help Center. The unified brand has now killed its Wear OS and Apple Watch apps for home control right from your wrist. Released yesterday, version 5.37 of the Nest app coincides with the deprecation of the wearable apps on both platforms. Niantic heavily touted this weekend’s Pokémon GO Fest in Chicago, the first-ever event of its kind. Despite the company’s promises, however, the event didn’t live up to expectations. The NFL is about to retire Game Rewind, a paid service for users in the US that offers online streaming and apps for on-demand NFL games, and replace it with a revamped version of its Game Pass service that will bring full, on-demand games to Apple TV for the first time. Previously the Game Pass service was only available to users internationally and not available on Apple TV. A note on the NFL’s webpage for Game Rewind warns users that “as of July 31, 2015 Game Rewind will no longer be available....
