New iPhone Virus Capable of Infecting Any iOS Device This malware explores failures DRM device designs (digital rights management), even with the removal of the App Store, the researchers who discovered believe that it will continue to be spread through specific attack vectors. Moreover, it is the first time it discovers a threat that could exploit the DRM technology of Apple, called FairPlay, even when the appliance is not unlocked. The technique used by AceDeceiver is known as FairPlay Man-In-The-Middle (MITM), recurrent since 2013 to install pirated applications on jailbroken iPhones....

These sources say that shipments of new MacBook Airs have begun arriving in large quantities to Apple Stores across the country. The evidence is ever growing for a MacBook Pro refresh occurring very soon, and three new reports are helping to peg a MacBook Pro refresh for next week. First, AppleBitch notes that some of the Apple online stores for Asia are showing longer than usual shipping times. For example in Taiwan, the 13 inch MacBook Pros are shipping in 2-4 days (versus the normal 24 hours), and the 17 inch model is shipping in 3-5 days....

There have been signs and indications of China’s growing importance to Apple’s bottom line before. In the June quarter the company grew China revenues sixfold, to an astounding $3.8 billion, or nearly eight percent of its total revenue for the quarter. Just three months later, however, the business in China has ballooned to $4.52 billion, an impressive sixteen percent of Apple’s total $28.27 billion revenue for the September quarter.
