This evening, YouTuber MKBHD is out with a new video comparing the original iPhone from 2007 to the iPhone 11 Pro. From a design perspective, the changes are rather obvious. The original iPhone featured a small but thick form factor, measuring in with a 3.5-inch screen. Over the years, the iPhone has gotten significantly bigger, and it’s neat to see the comparison between now and 2007....

Surprising almost no one, Google has now listed the Nexus 6 as longer being available for purchase through the Google Store. With the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P offering better value for money, it made almost no sense for anyone to buy the year-old shamu. Motorola is also selling the Nexus 6 through its online store in the U.S., though it is charging $499 for it. The Nexus 6 was easily the most forgettable Nexus handset ever from Google....

Netflix’s original sci-fi/comedy Living with Yourself accomplishes a feat that seems to defy all logic: it makes not one, but TWO Paul Rudds boring. The series premiered on the streaming service in October, 2019, and has since garnered mixed reviews. Living with Yourself has an original premise and a talented cast; yet, even two Paul Rudds can’t save this comedy, which suffers from an identity crisis of its own. Living with Yourself is a scripted comedy series that fuses situational comedy with Black Mirror’s technological anxiety; however, the show never seems invested in either direction, and the result is a bland, muddled, missed opportunity....

A new Angry Birds title is out for iOS and it’s bringing a new take on the franchise. This time around, players will slingshot the well-known birds and compete for real money. Reported by Engadget, Angry Birds Champions is now available from WorldWinner. This app isn’t directly from Rovio, but it is officially licensed and WorldWinner worked with the Angry Birds creator to launch this latest version. WorldWinner also licenses other popular games like Tetris, Scrabble, Wheel of Fortune, Trivial Pursuit, and more....

Following the official release of the iPhone X on Friday, Samsung is out today with a new ad for its Galaxy Note 8 flagship. The new ad slams the iPhone X’s notch design, the lack of a headphone jack, and much more… The ad, called ‘Grow up with an upgrade to Galaxy,’ progresses through several past iPhone launches, mocking different features and changes along the way. The iPhone 3GS is mocked for its lack of storage space, while the iPhone 5s is mocked for not supporting a stylus....

A new iOS app for managing two-factor authentication keys called Lockdown launched this weekend with a set of unique features like the ability to sync your keys over iCloud with other devices (including an upcoming Mac counterpart). Accounts in the app will also be backed up along with your phone’s data so that you can restore the keys back to a new device, which isn’t possible with other two-factor apps....

Tuesday morning Google unveiled it’s highly anticipated SmartPhone, the Nexus One. It was just a matter of time before Google entered into the cell phone hardware domain if you consider all of their core mobile software development. In a technical sense, the hardware is manufactured by HTC, but Google is the brains of the operation (obviously.) When Google announced that they were going to buy Nest for $3.2 billion, the first reaction people had was what’s Google going to do with all of their data? Think about it for a second. The Nest thermostat tracks when you’re home and which rooms you’re in so that it can intelligently adjust the temperature in your house. Nest’s CEO, speaking at a conference in Munich, has said that Nest’s data will not be shared with Google, and that if the company does change its privacy policy, users will have to opt-in....

Apple has today added new locations for its Flyover and indooor maps feature. Flyover shows a 3D representation of the specific area, while indoor maps allows users to find the specific location of a shop inside a mall or airport. While Apple lists these locations on its website (via MacRumors), some aren’t available yet, but will likely be updated with support soon. While some have been available for the past few months, Apple hasn’t updated its list until this point to reflect the change....

LG is going to announce a new flagship smartphone on August 7th at an event in New York City. That device will be called the LG G2. Nope, no Optimus. That brand is dead. We’ve seen numerous leaks of the device during the past few weeks, and today there’s a new one straight out of Korea that gives us some more detail about some of the “boring” aspects of the device....

Nokia has already broken few records with their latest Nokia 6, the mid-range smartphone from Nokia is already a sensation. Nokia 6 got 2,50,000 registration in less than 24 hours of being launched and was sold out in under one minute during the first flash sale. Well, HMD global hasn’t said anything regarding how many Nokia 6 units were sold in the first sale. However, as we told earlier that Nokia 6 is likely to go on sale outside China very soon and possibly which is named as Global Variant....
