Turning point is a 40 man map that has the Imperials on the defensive. The Rebels are tasked to capture one of three control points under Imperial control. The Imperials, obviously, have to defend these control points. Each time the Rebels take a control point, more time is added to the clock and three new control points open up. This keeps going until the Rebels push the Imperials back to their final base where the Imperials may make a last stand.

This game mode is all about the Rebels getting the upper hand in a battle. It is quite tactical as both sides have to decide to either break up into groups so they can attack/defend all the control points at once or focus all their efforts on the one control point.

This will bring the total amount of game modes up to 10. In other Star Wars Battlefront news, EA has revealed what content their $50 season pass will get you, including new maps, game modes and playable heroes and villains.

The Battle of Jakku DLC will be available for free on December 1st for anyone how had pre-ordered Battlefront and on December 8th for everyone else.
