Ace Attorney 6 will feature two intertwining storylines – one is set in Japan and focused on Apollo, while the other takes place in the fictional Khura’in Kingdom and will follow Phoenix and Maya. In the Khura’in Kingdom, lawyers are considered unnecessary because resident spirit mediums are able to conjure up visions of a victim’s memory before death, and it is up to Phoenix and Maya to reveal the problems and contradictions within this system.
Ace Attorney 6 will be released in Japan on the Nintendo 3DS on June 9. The American and European releases of the game will be downloadable only through the Nintendo eShop, and are slated to release sometime in September of this year.
